Transit Merger Creates Regional System – The S
The Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA) formed in July 2021, was the result of a merger between Modesto Area Express (MAX) and Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT).
First “Ride the S” Bus Dedication to Jenny Kenoyer
The Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA) presented the first bus branded with “Ride the S” to the public on December 16, 2021. The first of the fleet was named “The Jenny” in honor of Jenny Kenoyer, Chair of the StanRTA board and long-time transit advocate.
New Shuttle Provides Easy Access to Amtrak
We are excited to share that on January 3, 2022, Turlock Transit launched an On-Demand Amtrak Shuttle providing transit connectivity to and from the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station for Turlock and Denair residents.
