MOVE Board of Directors are dedicated to the members of the community who rely on MOVE programs in order to lead independent lives.

Jenny Kenoyer

Board Chair
Jenny Kenoyer is a lifelong resident of Modesto and retired after 48 years as a registered nurse. She has five children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jenny was elected to the Modesto City Council in 2013 and reelected in 2017. Jenny has been active in several community organizations including the Stanislaus County Commission on Aging, Stanislaus Senior Foundation, American Legion Auxiliary and the Lazarus Ministry. She also serves on the Member Appointments Committee, and a is a Member for the Safety and Communities Committee.

Jenny has a passion advocating for seniors. She was instrumental with the creation of MOVE, the Consolidated Transportation Services Agency of Stanislaus County. Jenny Kenoyer currently serves the Treasurer on MOVE’s Board of Directors.

Geri Vargas

Board Member
Geri Vargas worked as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Student Services at Modesto Junior College (MJC) for over 20 years. During that time, she volunteered on numerous occasions assisting with various fundraisers for the Stanislaus community programs. She joined the Latina Leadership Network (LLN) of the CA Community colleges mentoring students at MJC and starting new student chapters. Her support to our community continued as she served on multiple non-profit organizations as Board of Directors over the years, including but not limited to, Haven Center and Central Valley Opportunity Center. Her desire to serve in leadership has brought her to serve as president of Mujeres Latinas de Stanislaus County happily stating, “I feel fully rewarded giving back to my community.” Director Vargas chose to join MOVE Board of Directors in 2022 to have the opportunity to advocate for seniors in Stanislaus County. In her spare time Ms. Vargas enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with her eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pat Maisetti

Board Member
Pat Maisetti has spent over 60 years serving our community through a multitude of non-profit organizations. A long-time resident of Patterson, California, mother of two Pat Maisetti worked for the Stanislaus Credit Control Inc. for over 21 years, then worked for Westside Realty for over ten years. Throughout her life she has dedicated her time volunteering in leadership roles for over 25 non-profit organizations including American Cancer Society, California Farm Bureau, United Way, and Red Cross. Ms. Maisetti was honored to be the first of ten Outstanding Women of Stanislaus County, Outstanding Volunteer with the Easter Seal Society, and Soroptimist First Lady of the year. She served as the Mayor of City of Patterson for ten plus years, as always showing her dedication to service and support of our community. Ms. Maisetti says she is “enjoying being on the MOVE Board, staying busy, helping people and making life better”. In her spare time, she enjoys creative hobbies like painting, canning, and gardening.

Lupe Aguilera

Board Member
Lupe Aguilera worked for twenty-one years for the Department of Corrections retiring young enough to enjoy her life. She has travelled extensively, learning, and enjoying the diversity of cultures. In the early ‘90’s she moved to Oakdale California with her family and soon began to volunteer for more than twenty non-profit organizations through the years including: Girl Scouts, Soroptimist International, Love Oakdale, Oakdale Police Dept. (CAPS Senior Outreach Coordinator) and many more! Influenced by Ann Farmer who spoke at the Women’s Club about the need of support for seniors in the community, she has been committed to “give back, make a difference in my community and the lives of others.” Ms. Aguilera joined the MOVE Board of Directors, to continue serving the seniors in Oakdale, by helping find transportation solutions to support their daily needs. In her spare time, she enjoys researching her family tree and stamp collecting.
