Tony Hill, M.A. Esq.
Chief Executive Officer
Joined MOVE in 2024
Tony Hill, CEO of Move, exemplifies the spirit of a true “Community Servant.” Guided by values imparted by his father, Robert, a former U.S. Air Force engineer, Tony lives with a purpose rooted in serving others and has dedicated his career to the nonprofit sector. In a prior role as CEO of a regional center, Tony managed a $400 million budget, demonstrating his strong leadership. Before this, he served as Director of Community Services, developing affordable housing, transportation, and residential services.
Tony also served as Legal Affairs Advisor for the Valley Mountain Regional Center, overseeing legal matters, public policy initiatives, and communications with city, county, and state lawmakers. Appointed by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Governing Board, he serves on both the Hearing Panel and Hearing Board, respectively. Additionally, Tony contributes to the justice system as a temporary judge in the San Joaquin County Superior Court.
Beyond his professional roles, Tony actively supports his community, providing pro-bono legal counsel to the nonprofit “Friends of the Seniors” and volunteering annually as a scoring attorney for mock trial competitions, nurturing the legal aspirations of young people. His educational background is equally impressive: he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, managerial and financial accountancy, a Master’s Degree in leadership and communication, and a Juris Doctorate Degree. A licensed attorney and California State Bar Association member, Tony practices in contract, employment, immigration, and probate law.
